Use a camera for photos?!

Big plans coming up to go see another island, my first island hop. This calls for a new camera! (Instead of using my phone, Droid Razr) As soon as it came I had to go for a walk and try it out!

The delivery person figured no one could see the box if they put it under the door mat.

I got a Olympus Tough TG-1 and a lot of stuff to go with it. It was a great combo pack on amazon, I couldn't pass up all these goodies.

The color looks nice and crisp.

This is the HDR setting which is good when not everything in your picture can look good with one camera setting. Basically it photoshop's multiply pictures together. It's why the sky looks a little weird.

It was nice of this bee to pose for my close up picture.

The zoom is not real far but it definitely beats my phone.

A requirement of my camera is that it must be water proof. So I can take great sea "life" pictures like this one.

I found an eel!

The conditions were bad for snorkeling as the water was rough and stirred up a lot of dirt.

Water proof test, passed.

Whales in the sky!

That's right, Hawaii still has some pay phones.

After the camera test, I like it.
