Circle Island Tour (Part 2)

Back for the the second half of the tour! Our next stop was the macadamia nut farm in Kualoa. Apparently they can be eaten without a cookie around them. Here you can crack your own macadamia nut open and eat it. I tasted Okay. But I would not break open one you just find in the wild; Well at least I wouldn't again.

Here you can sample the nuts that have been honey roasted or cinnamon coated, or many others. This is what made the one I cracked just taste okay. Plus they said you could taste as many as you want... so we did.

Subsequently (I found a thesaurus) we went to the China Man's Hat.

This is Topher wearing the hat.

This is a 360 view of the area.

I just like this picture so I put it in.

This is the drive, well really walk, Topher takes to get to work.

Cows! That's all.

Windmill. Convertible Mustang (it's a popular car here), and if you look close you might see the "small" but famous RV.

Next stop, and this is more exciting than cows. Snorkeling at Sharks Cove! No I did not see any sharks. :-(

There are two eels or long fish on the left of this picture.

I'm not sure about the balancing rocks but they look neat.

Here lizard lizard lizard. We got these little guy running around our apartment too. Well outside, although...

Here was just a nice little garden with some fun looking trees.

This is where we had lunch.

This is the famous place that sells the Hawaii shave ice with beans. Next time I'm just getting it with ice cream though.

They had a speedy assembly line, I was impressed.

Our final destination was to Turtle Beach. They have, you guessed it, turtles here! Well sometimes. Whenever they decided to come up and get a nice turtle tan. Which this is one of only three spots they do this at. But for more info check out my friend Topher's blog.

Oakley looked like he was so comfortable with using that rock as a pillow I thought I would test it out for myself. I don't I would choose to spend my day laying there.

The turtles got too cold as the sun set and headed back into the water.

Bye Bye

Just making our way back home. After a great day of fun and sight seeing!
